Me chamo Daniel Garcia, sou de Nova Friburgo, RJ. Sou graduado em Engenharia de Produção e Ciências Contábeis — duas áreas que, à primeira vista, parecem distantes de TI, mas que me deram algo valioso: a capacidade de enxergar sistemas, otimizar processos e trabalhar com precisão analítica.
Por anos atuei como gestor de automação, desenvolvendo workflows com ferramentas como n8n, integrando sistemas e automatizando processos repetitivos para empresas. Foi nesse trabalho que percebi o quanto a tecnologia por trás de tudo — a infraestrutura, os dados, a segurança — era o que realmente me fascinava.
Hoje estou em transição de carreira para TI, com foco em três frentes: Dados, para transformar informação bruta em decisão; Redes de Computadores, para entender e construir a infraestrutura digital; e Cybersecurity, para proteger o que foi construído.
Estudo Redes de Computadores na Uninter, Python e Data Science na Hashtag Treinamentos, e me preparo para as certificações CCNA (com David Bombal na Udemy) e ISC² CC. No radar ainda: Linux LPI, CompTIA Security+ e ICS/SCADA Security — área que conecta minha experiência em Engenharia de Produção com segurança de sistemas industriais.
Meu diferencial é a visão de negócio: entendo o processo antes de automatizá-lo, entendo o dado antes de analisá-lo, e entendo o ativo antes de protegê-lo. Poucos profissionais de cyber pensam assim — e é exatamente isso que me diferencia.
My name is Daniel Garcia, from Nova Friburgo, RJ, Brazil. I hold degrees in Production Engineering and Accounting Sciences — two fields that may seem distant from IT, but gave me something invaluable: the ability to see systems, optimize processes, and work with analytical precision.
For years I worked as an automation manager, developing workflows with tools like n8n, integrating systems and automating repetitive business processes. It was in that work that I realized how much the technology behind everything — the infrastructure, the data, the security — was what truly fascinated me.
Today I'm in a career transition into IT, focused on three fronts: Data, to transform raw information into decisions; Computer Networks, to understand and build digital infrastructure; and Cybersecurity, to protect what has been built.
I'm studying Computer Networks at Uninter, Python and Data Science at Hashtag Treinamentos, and preparing for CCNA (with David Bombal on Udemy) and ISC² CC certifications. On the radar: Linux LPI, CompTIA Security+ and ICS/SCADA Security — an area that connects my Production Engineering background with industrial systems security.
My differentiator is business perspective: I understand the process before automating it, understand the data before analyzing it, and understand the asset before protecting it. Few cybersecurity professionals think this way — and that's exactly what sets me apart.
